Courtney Stucky The Digital Perch Owner.jpeg

Your Dream Marketing Partner is HERE.

My name is Courtney and I'm the founder of The Digital Perch small business marketing agency.

I take transparency, honesty and trust very seriously. With over 15 years of digital marketing experience under my belt, a passion for what I do every day, and a big heart for helping the small business owner — I guarantee you won't find another marketing agency like The Digital Perch.

I built this business to do go far beyond what most agencies do for their clients — something that small business owners actually need, and deserve. Someone willing to go deep, ask hard questions, reveal gaps and proactively look for opportunities for growth. Someone interested in setting up your business for long-term success and walk alongside you to ensure your hard-earned work pays off and every dollar invested maximizes ROI.

That's what you can expect working with The Digital Perch.

My Founder Story

I spent 15 years in marketing...working inside agencies, running campaigns, managing clients, chasing results. I was good at it and loved it. I knew all the playbooks... and that's exactly how I figured out the playbook was broken.

THE PROBLEM

Here's what nobody tells you about working at a marketing agency: You can do everything right (i.e. great ads, solid creative, good targeting) and still watch a client get zero return. And when the numbers don't move, guess who gets the blame? Marketing. Every time.

I watched it happen over and over again. A client would come to us needing more leads, more revenue, more growth. We'd build campaigns. We'd run ads. We'd post content. And underneath all of it? Their website didn't convert. Their messaging talked to everybody (which means it talked to nobody). Their sales process had holes big enough to drive a truck through. Nobody could ever get them to respond fast enough to make changes. And they weren't willing (or didn't have time) to be part of the process.

So we'd pour money into the best ad in the world... and send people straight to a broken foundation that didn't convert.

It didn't matter how good the marketing was. It was never going to work. And the worst part? The clients didn't know that. We barely said it out loud. Because agencies don't get paid to pump the brakes. They get paid to keep running. I couldn't do it anymore and wanted to do something different.

THE TURNING POINT

The turning point wasn't one moment. It was a hundred of them stacked on top of each other. It was the client whose website hadn't been updated in four years and whose messaging still talked to the customer they used to serve. It was the business owner who wanted to run Facebook ads but had never defined who their ideal customer actually was. It was the pipeline that leaked leads at every single stage... and nobody knew it because nobody had ever mapped it.

I kept thinking: What if we fixed this first? What if (before a single dollar went to ads or social or email) we stopped and actually looked at what was underneath? What if the real problem wasn't the marketing at all?

THE SOLUTION

I started The Digital Perch a few years ago thinking I was building a marketing agency. And then I realized what I was actually building was something different...something most small business owners don't even know they need yet.

Not another agency selling tactics. A partner who starts by fixing the foundation.

I designed a 90-Day Predictable Revenue Sprint, a structured engagement where we don't touch a single tactic until we've diagnosed what's actually broken. The sales pipeline. The funnel. The messaging. The ideal client definition. The conversion gaps. All of it.

Because I know firsthand: even the best marketing in the world is a waste of money if it's built on a cracked foundation. And I wasn't willing to keep building on cracks.

THE PIVOT

I'm not going to pretend this pivot was easy. It wasn't. I had 15 years of marketing experience. But I was building a new system — one that operates more like a business consultant and strategic partner than a traditional agency. And I didn't have a long list of case studies to prove it yet. That was really hard for me, because I wanted so badly to prove the concept but hadn't had the opportunity yet.

The other scary part? The business owners who need this most aren't out there Googling "foundational marketing strategy." They're Googling "marketing agency near me." They don't know yet that the reason marketing hasn't worked for them isn't the marketing — it's what's underneath it.

So I'm building something people don't know to search for. I'm making a case for something most agencies will never tell their clients. And I'm betting that the truth (even when it's uncomfortable) will find the people who are ready to hear it. I made the leap anyway.

THE RESULTS

Here's what I know to be true: from 15 years of watching what works and what doesn't: Businesses that fix the foundation first don't just get better marketing results. They get predictable results. They stop throwing money at tactics and hoping something sticks. They stop guessing. They stop wasting.

I haven't been doing this long enough yet to hand you a testimonials page. And I'm not going to pretend otherwise — because that's exactly the kind of dishonesty I built this business to get away from.

What I can tell you is this: I've seen the before and the after from the inside. I've seen what happens when a business owner finally gets clear on their ideal client, tightens their sales process, and stops bleeding leads. And it changes everything.

That's what I'm here to build. For real. Starting with you.

THE TAKEAWAY

If you've tried marketing before and it didn't work, I want you to hear this: It's probably not your fault. You were handed tactics before anyone checked whether you had a foundation to stand on. You spent money on ads without anyone asking if your website actually converts. You hired people to run campaigns without anyone asking who your ideal client really is.

That's not a you problem. That's an industry problem. And it's fixable.

If you're a Texas owner-operator who's tired of guessing, tired of throwing money at marketing that doesn't move the needle, and ready to finally build something that lasts — you're in the right place. Let's fix the foundation first. Then we build.

Who I'll Work With

I'm not here just to provide a service. I'm here to build a partnership. My niche is working with small to medium-sized businesses in Texas that value collaboration and understand the role that strategic marketing plays in long-term growth.

I'm willing to work with small business owners who:

  • Understand the long-term value of marketing. They know that effective marketing is an investment — not just an expense. If your top priority is finding the cheapest option, I'm probably not the right fit. You can hire an intern or outsource overseas if cost is the only concern. But if you're after sustainable growth and expert strategy, I'm ready to deliver.

  • View marketing as a powerful support system — not a silver bullet. I know marketing plays a critical role in helping your business grow, but it’s not the only piece of the puzzle. When sales don’t meet expectations, marketing often gets blamed first. But if I'm consistently showing progress, momentum, and data-driven results, I need a business partner who’s open to looking at the bigger picture — from operations to sales processes. I'm happy to talk through those challenges and offer insight, but I'm not the ones running your business... I'm just helping it get set up for long-term success and letting it shine from there.

  • Welcome new ideas and collaboration. I thrive when I can work with clients who are open to change, experimentation, and honest conversations. If every suggestion I offer gets dismissed, it’s hard to move the needle. And when business slows, that same resistance can lead to canceling services — which often becomes a costly mistake for the client. I want to be more than your marketing vendor. I want to be your go-to marketing consultant, your strategic sounding board, and your partner in growth.

What Makes Me Different?

I have 15 years of proven digital marketing experience under my belt. It's my passion and I want you to care about it as much as I do.

Customer service is numero uno. It's my goal to always respond within 24 business hours. Even if I don't have a solution for you right away, I will aim to over-communicate to ensure you stay in the loop. I'm always happy to receive your calls, emails or even direct messages on social media asking questions — big or small, however you feel like reaching out, I'm here for you. However, text or email will be the most effective for quicker response due to the influx of spam callers I receive these days!

I pride myself on 100% transparency, honesty, and trust. It's just who I am as a human being, and it's just as important in business. I will right any wrongs and own up to any mistakes on my end.  No B.S. No drama. Just genuine care for doing my absolute best, being authentic, and ensuring every client is taken care of in the best possible way.

I'm not afraid to rewrite the rules or go against the grain of what others are doing in the industry. This business was actually built on doing what others have failed to do for small business owners. I care more about offering the right services to fit the client's needs than making more money by nickel-and-diming or upselling services. If it's needed, I'll let you know. If it's not, I'll let you know. If I can't do something you need, I'll refer you to someone who can. If you're not a right fit for me, I'll refer you to someone who is.

Your success is, really, my success. So I mean it when I say I'll work hard to ensure you see tangible, positive results and ROI when you partner with me. I aim to be fruitful in my labors and reap what I sow. I've got that good old-fashioned work ethic, but also prioritize personal life and boundaries — because tomorrow isn't guaranteed, and family (and God) must always be first. That's why I don't answer emails or phone calls after 4pm CST (or on the weekend), because most things can wait until first thing the next morning during business hours. If there is an emergency, call 9-1-1.... I just handle your marketing.
